About Me

Alright, here it is. My 15 minutes of fame. On this page I get to talk about the most important person – me (lol).

I have spent almost 30 years in the professional cleaning industry. I have been in the first lines as a young office cleaning operative located in huge buildings in The City. I maintained the cleanliness at a number of prestige properties under the supervision of knowledgeable managers.

I learned a lot. I worked a lot. I implemented what I learned and I started rising up the ranks of my company (which was a huge behemoth in the Facilities Management). One day I was an ordinary office cleaner and the next day I was supervising a team of seven like-minded individuals.

But I didn’t stop at that. Achievement it might have been, I pushed harder without any hesitation. I wanted more from my life. I loved the job I had and the work I did. It was an easy continuation of my natural desire to succeed.

In just 3 years I was already an area supervisor with a company car and managing a total of 40 cleaners and supervisors. I was responsible for day-to-day objective planning and execution, client quality audits, weekly payroll and recruiting new team members. It was a managerial position that I was working for a lot less of a salary. I knew that I the company bosses knew it too. I was saving them a lot of money and their gratitude did follow very soon.

I was offered monetary and non-monetary bonuses and rewards. I was soon flying twice a year to exotic places with my family – all expenses paid for courtesy of the wonderful company I was lucky to be working for.

The rest was just a natural continuation of the path of loyalty and hard work I had vowed to follow. I learned a lot from my managers and fellow employees. It has been an invaluable journey in terms of reward and knowledge. I am glad I did what I did and the war stories I am about to share with the world in this blog are only the tip of the iceberg of positive experience I’ve had.

Well, thanks for reading this. I hope you will enjoy the rest of my writings on this website.
